Midway Airport
The culinary scene at Midway Airport used to make us long for gruel. Suffer through one of those dreaded ATA delays and you had your choice between stale sweet roll and sandwiches shipped in by camel from the Sahara Desert. Things have changed. The new food court at the entrance to the gates features the Chicago specialties people fly in for. Chicago-style hot dogs, pizza, local Mexican food and Potbelly’s now make us hope our plane to Kansas City (for BBQ) is slightly delayed. Take a cue, O’Hare.
