It will be moot in a few short months, when smokers get banished from all venues entirely, but for a preview of the future, check out the new nightclub Climax. Upstairs, sky-lit high-ceilinged open spaces abound with fresh clean air, since smoking is banned. Downstairs, next to the bathrooms, smokers huddle in a dark, low-ceilinged space, like refugees waiting for a train.
