“The Bald Soprano,” Hypocrites Theater
Sean Graney, playwright, theater director and Hypocrites founder, is many things—but maybe first and foremost, a comic. How else to explain this intentionally wacked but hugely entertaining production? Injecting high doses of pop culture into Eugene Ionesco’s classic play—the script is a melange of gobbledygook—director Graney and his excellent cast gave nonsense a good name.
