Columbus Drive You’re heading to the South Side after a long day in the Loop. Jump on Madison or Balbo and head to the drive, right? Wrong, unless you want to spend fifteen minutes waiting through three or four lights before you even reach the Drive. Instead, take a right on Columbus Drive and take it all the way. Somewhere around Soldier Field, Columbus and Lake Shore Drive merge, and you’re on your way.
