RUI: Reading Under the Influence
The monthly drunk-lit celebration at Sheffield’s spotlights literature as much as it does booze, as if the two were, like, meant for each other or something. The trivia that ensues doesn’t match the evening’s chaos, as by the time it nears completion, nobody has the ability to answer any questions anyway, not least how many shots they’ve endured. Good thing they only do this once a month. Any more would be uncivilized.
