“Man Hanging Out” sculpture
Stars can’t really be seen in the city, fireworks are overcrowded and the Air and Water Show only makes people want to duck. The best reason to look up this summer was the “Man Hanging Out” art installation at Columbia College. The seven-foot fiberglass sculpture of Sigmund Freud, done by Czech sculptor David Cerny, caused many passersby to do double and triple takes, as it hung from the top of the fifteen-story building on Michigan.
