Colleen Shaughnessy-Larsson, a Chicago-based flight attendant, not only visits Paris weekly for work; she also lives there. The dual-citizenship-holding Gold Coast resident maintains two apartments, one located a stone’s throw from Lake Michigan; the other just footsteps from Notre Dame. Her site, which she describes as “Paris travel and personal tips for Parisians at heart,” includes useful information such as where to rent a bike in the Bois de Boulogne, stretch your pipes at group “chanson” (song) bars, or grab a late night bite of boeuf bourguignon. A link to film trails, courtesy of the Paris Mayor’s office, directs visitors to walking tours that snake through locations for such Paris-themed films as “Ratatouille,” “The Devil Wears Prada” and “Paris je t’aime.”
