Justin Long continues to keep Chicago’s dance floors moving, from guest spots at clubs around the city, to his monthly .dotbleep event at Smart Bar. His DJ sets combine elements of classic house, soul and new wave, and his work as Wasted Chicago Youth with Mazi (Fresh Meat) takes the sound even further, recently warranting a mix for Jay Haze’s Tuning Spork label. This month he revives the Material brand with co-founder, Josh Werner, for a special edition of .dotbleep.
