Thursday nights at La Creperie
Show tunes, Sinatra favorites and French classics are on the live-music menu Thursday nights at La Creperie, where owner Germain Roignant plays his trumpet in his snuggly, 38-year-old restaurant in Lincoln Park. From 8pm-11pm, Roignant plays trumpet, sometimes pairing up with his eatery’s long-standing accordion player Jerry King and singer Larry Russo. Roignant also plays on some special occasions, such as Valentine’s Day, when the air of his cozy restaurant perennially fills with musical chords—and festive pink balloons.
