Not to be confused with the CTA’s official Red Line account which mostly documents delays, the sassy @CTARedLine says it has been “doing this shit since ’93″—more like fall of 2011. Off-and-on throughout the past year, @CTARedLine has chronicled the shared experience of Chicago public transportation—think strange smells, peddlers of poetry, the girl on the train playing music too loud—while doing so with spot-on hashtag humor and straight-up attitude: “Trains are not running southbound at Bryn Mawr because I don’t like you and I think you’re rude. #hadtobesaid.”
