The city is home to 2,000 wild coyotes This fact comes courtesy of architect Jeanne Gang, she of the genius grant and purveyor of sustainable architecture. Even though we are urbanites living in a metropolis, wildlife predators such as coyotes are part of our natural habitat. The coyotes only come out at night, and they feed on rats, hopefully not pets.
