Megabus
We all have our Megabus horror stories: one friend had to direct her Megabus driver through downtown Indianapolis to the bus terminal, another had his MacBook Pro stolen from beneath his seat while he dozed en route to Cincinnati, and another had to share a seat for three-and-a-half hours with a young man who chose to play porn from his iPad (he wore headphones, thank goodness). Likewise, we all have our complaints: the free wi-fi works about ten percent of the time, the buses nearly always depart late, and there’s usually one passenger who brings along a BBQ chicken sandwich or a burrito or some other food that only smells good if you’re the one eating it. Headphones and a good book soften the indignities of Megabus travel, but if all else fails, just remind yourself that a round-trip ticket to Indianapolis for $25 can’t be beat. Megabus: here to remind us that you get what you pay for.
