Horner Park
Technically, we’re not allowed to let our dogs off their leashes unless it’s in a designated dog run, but come on, there isn’t even any grass in those things. Horner Park is one of the larger parks on the North Side, and the stretch of fence by the Chicago River that runs along the east edge of the park is the most ideal spot in the city to let a well-behaved dog chase some squirrels, wrestle with other dog pals, or practice some training routines.
