If you’re considering or already living the poly lifestyle and looking for community in the city, the place to start is with the Polyamory Meetup Group. As polyamory groups go, this one seems made for outreach and community building, hosting half a dozen events around the city each month from after work drinks in the Loop to the occasional Poly Prom. PMG is one of the few groups who have successfully organized more than a small group of participants, with no signs of stopping. Over 500 members strong at last count, the group actively tailors events for the novice to the poly veteran.
