Juno
Chef B. K. Park is a sushi legend in Chicago. He received rave reviews at Mirai, then opened Arami in 2010 to similar accolades. Now he’s back with a vengeance at Juno. Try the omakase, where Park will wow you with toro tartare, an oyster shooter and a pristine selection of sashimi before launching into a parade of impeccably prepared nigiri, placed piece by piece on the counter before you to be enjoyed with your fingers. The rice isn’t quite as good as New York’s Masa, but the fish is.
