Margot Bergman, Corbett vs. Dempsey
You could feel the psychological buzz that charged the room in which Margot Bergman’s fourth solo exhibition at Corbett vs. Dempsey hung. Women’s faces swollen to the scale of a full body were fragmented with multiple sets of eyes or smaller faces peering out of them. Not only impactful paintings, Bergman’s works get into the head space of the complexly ontological times we live in.
