The German tradition of radlers, a mix of fruit soda and beer, had to be the drink of the summer. Canned radlers popped up in bars everywhere, but Logan Square’s The Radler, a German-themed bar, mixed German beers with fruit sodas for house-made radlers. They offer various radlers using Hefeweizens and pilsners paired with a different citrus flavor, but the Lemon Radler, made with Stiegl Pils and lemon soda offered the best summer treat… that and a Bavarian pretzel.
