With the closure of Hot Doug’s, it seemed like this might be the moment when Franks ‘N’ Dawgs could step from the shadows and assume the position as the city’s premier haute dog emporium. Alas, just recently, Franks ‘N’ Dawgs announced it was selling (if you’ve ever dreamed of owning a dog joint, it can be yours for less than $100K). For the moment, though, it’s going strong, you can still enjoy the artful compositions and sausages made in-house, which was never the case at St. Doug’s.
