High Five Ramen
In the past year or so, noodle bars have been sprouting up everywhere, among them High Five Ramen. Although we were initially turned off by this aggressively hipster basement space with limited seating, we have to hand it to restaurateur Brendan Sodikoff, whose touch is generally golden (except, of course, for Dillman’s in its initial concept, which lasted mere days before re-concepting earlier this year). Much thought has gone into crafting complex broths, selecting the right size noodles, and generally creating a place where people get very excited about soup.
