The TV-less Andersonville Belgian-and-craft-beer emporium will be humming (trust us) with people who could not care less about the hapless Cubs or your existential angst at their elimination. While several of the bartenders are fans, and many of the day regulars are deeply knowledgeable about baseball, anyone at Hopleaf during a Cubs playoff game clearly has their priorities in order. Good beer. Maybe some mussels and frites. But no one will want to talk Cubs, no one will want to commiserate, and you will be able to find some very-high-alcohol-content craft brew to drown your sorrows.
