“Feathers and Teeth” at Goodman Theatre
The Goodman Theatre is known for a lot of things, but bona fides in the horror department isn’t one of them. Which made this fall’s mounting of the horror comedy “Feathers and Teeth” all the more exciting. Sure the laughs in Charise Castro Smith’s script were played up a lot more than the chills and gore, but seeing a skeleton fall out of the closet on Kevin Depinet’s elaborate 1970s kitchen set (and moments later be decapitated) made for a great Goodman precedent. Here’s to theatrical horror going mainstream.
