Carol’s Pub
A giant stage, country music on the weekends, an open mic on Wednesday, cheap beer, whiskey, dancing, a great jukebox, darts, a pool table, free popcorn and the phrase “drink or get the hell out” make Carol’s perhaps the only place of its kind left in Chicago. Yes, you may see a few leftover guys with long sideburns and Vitalis-slicked-back hair, but you will also see a surprising mixture of ages, races, cultural and economic backgrounds all united by good music and a good time.
