When you are stuck in traffic it is sometimes hard to appreciate the majesty of infrastructure. That’s why Chicago is lucky to have had a live Twitter feed this summer of the reconstruction of the Jane Byrne Interchange. The good people at the Chicago Architecture Blog (chicagoarchitecture.org) have an office (or home? or both?) overlooking the site and have reliably posted play-by-play photos and commentary on the late-night action on the roads from @ChicagoArchitec. In Chicago, even the roads have character, and Chicago Architecture Blog reminds us of this. Stay tuned!
