My favorite neighborhood clothing store is Socksco. It’s an unusual combo of store and warehouse. Despite the “Socks” in their name, they carry all kinds of clothing, and seems to be seventy-percent women’s, fifteen-percent men’s and fifteen-percent children’s. They always have great deals, and often unique items. I’ve found fleece-lined turtlenecks and long underwear for one-quarter the price of other stores. Although many items are packaged in bulk, they will sell them individually. No fitting room, but if you’re a regular they are flexible on the time frame of their return policy.
