Maggie Daley Park
It’s hard to miss Chicago’s latest expansion of public park space, with its climbing rock walls and snaking skating path. It offers all-ages outdoor activities that can be an exciting adventure to smiling children and parents alike. Kids can run through sprinklers, climb aboard a pirate ship, or play on various slides and bridges. Play areas are separated into age-specific sections, providing less congestion and a safer watch for parents. The park juxtaposes its plastic and rubber structures with greenery, rolling grassy hills offering picnic areas with benches made of trees salvaged from the park’s construction. Open year round, it’s a new destination for family fun.
