The Italian Cultural Institute of Chicago
The Italian Cultural Institute of Chicago offers Italian movies for free to the general public. Yes, for free! The films are arranged thematically in six-week blocks, and screenings are once a week at 6pm, preceded by a short introduction by the director of the institute which gives both historical and artistic context. Once the lights go out and the film is turned on, you’ll find yourself in cinematic, Italophile heaven.
