Biscuit Man at Sidecar at the Long Room
Chef Zeeshan Shah heads up the shared kitchen at the Biscuit Man at Sidecar at the Long Room, a Russian nesting doll of a restaurant-within-a-restaurant of a little pop-up spot, tucked into a nook about halfway down the (obviously, long) bar. True to their name, their menu revolves around savory variations on buttermilk biscuit dishes, including the staff-favorite smoked ham and swiss biscuit. A full meal in itself, the hefty biscuit sandwich comes served on a farmhouse blue tin plate, with a delicious, cooked-in aftertaste of Dijon. Pulling away the gooey, stringy Swiss cheese strands with each bite, you know you’re into something good.
