Chicago Water Taxi
Cruise up the Chicago River through the city’s old South Loop, looking at the remains of the old wooden docks, until you get off at Chinatown. Then walk through Ping Tom Memorial Park or eat at one of almost fifty different eateries. Get back on and get a waterside view of Union Station, Wolf Point (where Chicago was born), the Wrigley Building or ride all the way north to Goose Island. Unlike other boat rides and tours which may cost upwards of thirty dollars, the Chinatown ferry is ten dollars for unlimited daily rides and unlike boat ownership, you have no licensing, repairs or winter storage fees.
