Jeppson’s Malört
By now, everyone knows the wormwood liqueur as a distinctly Chicago secret handshake or a way to make your friends react histrionically in bars, but no one ever talks about its utility. Malört is seventy proof and acts as a digestif so it’s the perfect go-to if you’re going the distance. There’s a reason you always see bartenders drinking it. Next time you’re trying to enact a mass slaughter of brain cells, ditch the Jameson and energy drinks and drink like a grownup. Alcohol isn’t supposed to taste good, junior. Now take your medicine.
