Purp’s “iiiDrops”—uncelebrated as “Coloring Book” (Chance) and unceremonious as “There’s Alot Going On” (Vic Mensa)—was the singular product out of the crew that did what all great Chicago music and Chicago artists are supposed to do: Hold Chicago down while holding it accountable at the same time.
