Tink’s “Tell The Children”
The beauty of living in turmoil, conflict and fear that coincides with cultural and political misunderstandings is that there is always a song that speaks emotionally to that existence. In late 2014, Chicago rap artist Tink dropped “Tell The Children.” It was written as a response to the Ferguson melee. Haunting. Painful. Accurate. If Laquan McDonald’s life had a song, it would be this.
