Cervecería Cruz Blanca
Jacob Sembrano of Cruz Blanca brews outstanding craft-style interpretations of French and Austrian beers made in Mexico during the nineteenth century. But you won’t be able to taste any of them if you decide to eat the long yellow guero pepper nestled in each taco. One bite was all it took to shrivel the buds and numb the tongue; though the momentary cooling provided by the beers was much appreciated, the beers themselves were thus rendered, alas, tasteless.
