But you won’t be able to taste any of them if you decide to eat the long yellow guero pepper nestled in each taco. One bite was all it took to shrivel the buds and numb the tongue; though the momentary cooling provided by the beers was much appreciated, the beers themselves were thus rendered, alas, tasteless.
