The Windy Kitty Cat Cafe
Set, finally, to open right before Halloween, the city’s latest cat cafe, “a place to bring community and fuzzy felines together,” located in Bucktown, will offer local coffee, local baked goods and wi-fi while sharing the space with adoptable cats from Roscoe Village’s Alive Rescue. An online fundraising campaign raised almost $6,500 toward the launch. “A cat cafe will ensure the cats are able to avoid being in a shelter, roaming free, playing and socializing with the rad people of Chicago,” the backers wrote on their Indiegogo pitch.
