For years after its founding in 2013 by musician-impresario Mike Reed, the progressive music club was one of Chicago’s best-hidden secret, given that it huddled in shadows beneath the Western Avenue overpass. Now that the overpass is no more, Constellation basks proudly in the sun, looking out on a city that has started looking back.
