Green City Market
Is spring the only season deserving of a harbinger? Seems that way, and one of the time-honored rites of spring is going to the Green City Market when it opens in May. Granted, a lot of locally sourced produce (potatoes, cabbage) may have been harvested in autumn, wintering in a root cellar, but the market is a sure sign that summer is icumen in. (David Hammond)
