A bright, sparkly wine shop by day, The Wine Goddess sometimes transforms into a Saturday night venue, featuring artists like Jason Narducy, Nora O’Connor and Jon Langford. Shows tend to sell out. I’ve played there a few times, and while it seems it would be weird and uncomfortable to rock in a wine shop, no, it’s like playing in a warm living room to all your friends, and the abundance of wine and liquor bottles lining the walls provides a strong sense of wellbeing.
