Logan Square’s tropical tiki temple, Lost Lake Tiki, hit slot fifty on The World’s Fifty Best Bars, a British-sited annual ranking of bars that meet the approval of over 500 eagle-eyed bartenders, cocktail specialists, journalists and other drink experts from around the world. The group explains, “Voters are simply asked to name the seven bars in which they have enjoyed the best experience over the previous eighteen months, with the proviso that at least three of their choices must be for bars located outside the voter’s country of residence.” (The same group also cites Asia’s fifty best bars, the world’s fifty best restaurants, Latin America’s fifty best restaurants and Asia’s fifty best restaurants.)
