Unless you’re one of the insane who does the Polar Plunge (seriously, how? Why?!), an outdoor dip is probably the last thing you want on a winter day. Totally reasonable, but AIRE Ancient Baths could give you a reason to suspend your skepticism. The serene Turkish bath-inspired spa features a collection of hot and cold pools in a River West warehouse. In one of these pools, you can swim under a glass partition and emerge in a small outdoor courtyard with a waterfall. The hot water-cold air juxtaposition is worth a dunk. (Lauren Knight)
