The National Museum of Mexican Art
Next to Mexican Independence Day, there is perhaps no greater Mexican celebration than Day of the Dead (October 31-November 2). The National Museum of Mexican Art in Pilsen is a monument to Hispanic artistic contributions, and the people there make a big deal of Día de los Muertos. Annual festivities are capped on November with a “Love Never Dies” ball, offering food, drink and dancing with abandon. (David Hammond)
