This fall I’ve been going to postcard-writing parties at Temperance Beer Company for The Sister District Project, a nonprofit that mobilizes volunteers to target specific swing districts and flip them blue. I can’t imagine a more democratic space: wide, comfortable tables, an open room that’s not too dark, not too loud, with plenty of air to breathe.
