Just take a drive south on South Shore drive after 10pm and you’ll see it, experience it and know. It will hit you all at once: the lights, the design, the construct, all of it. There are as many beautiful places on the South Side of Chi as there are in Harlem and Paris. This bridge separates itself from all of them. (Scoop Jackson)
