With a team of experts, we comb the city in search of its finest, and combine our insights, in some cases, with the cumulative wisdom of our brilliant audience. Add to that riffs on the city in its present state, and you have a take on our little town unlike anything you’ll find anywhere else.
And you won’t find us repeating the same categories over and over. Though it makes life challenging for our editors, we have a rule that we don’t revisit the same category for five years, except in those that celebrate the “best new” or in cases where winners have gone out of business (a rarity).
