Walk for Peace
The Alliance of Local Service Organizations in Logan Square presents its seventeenth annual Walk for Peace, which aims to promote violence prevention programs in the Chicago area. This year’s theme is “Preventing Children’s Exposure to Violence.” After an hour-long walk, which begins at 11am, there will be a celebration with food, games and entertainment, including a three-on-three basketball tournament. 57th Street Art Fair
June 2-3. Head down to Hyde Park for Chicago’s oldest juried art fair, where you can talk with artists from around the country in a family-friendly environment.
