Surly is as surly does until real estate development someday crashes down on Lakeview’s Wiener’s Circle. Char-dog Central’s ever-prickly letterboard kicked off 2018 with the message “PEOPLE FROM ALL COUNTRIES WELCOME AT THIS SH-T-HOLE.” July shined “PUTIN OBVI GOT THE PEE PEE TAPE,” while June advertised “PRESIDENTIAL PARDONS OFFERED HERE” and  “TINY HANDS TINY WEINER TINY HEART FREE THE KIDS.” (The Wiener’s Circle twitter account elaborated: “If we’re gonna cage kids, let’s start w don jr, Ivanka & Eric.”) Plus: a May tweet read “People always say our ambience makes us offensive too #roseanne,” along with the legend, “ROSEANNE NEED NOT APPLY HERE.” (Ray Pride)
